Georgetown is a town located in the town of Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada and which is part of the Regional Municipality of Halton. Georgetown is located in the Greater Toronto Area about sixty kilometers west of Toronto. The Credit River runs thourgh the town. George Kennedy settled the area in 1821 and that is who Georgetown is named after.

If you are visiting Georgetown in the summer months you will mostly likely want to check out the local Farmer's Market that happen every Saturday from 8:30 in the morning to 1 o'clock in the afternoon. It offers great local produce.

Georgetown Ontario have a few different neighbourhoods. From the North to the South; Glen Williams (or better known as 'The Glen'), Moore Park, The Park District, Arborglen, Delrex, Georgetown South.

Glen Williams- consists of 400 acres owned by Benajah Williams that sits on the Credit River. Mr. Williams created the first saw mill with his son Joesph.

Delrex and Moore Park- Throughout the 1950's Rex Heslop built the subdivsion know as Delrex. Moore Park was built shortly after in the early 1960's.

The Park District- one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Georgetown is known for being close to downtown, having mature larger lots, and having century houses that ooze with charm and character.

Georgetown South- started in 1989 and continues to grow with additional houses being built today. A large variety of homes and properties can be found in this subdivision including townhouses, townhomes, detached, bungalows 2 Storey houses and new builds.
